Jarrett DavisHostAnd like I said, this has kind of been in in chat and talk within the show pick dot com team.
uh management team uh and then our two hosts that are on here uh i think it's something it's something great it's something you can listen to while you're mowing while you're driving um i know there's a lot of podcasts and uh you know they're easy to you don't have to watch them you can just listen to them and i'm excited about uh some different guys that have been mentioned that hopefully we can get on because i know that personally i'll be a pretty avid listener to get to hear just people's take on the business.
If they're old school guys, if they're new school guys, if they're different breeds, whatever.
So I'm kind of excited about the future of this.
And, you know, why this podcast, I guess, could be a question as we talk about.
And I'll just kick some questions to you guys.
And, you know, Bryce, what inspired this podcast, do you think?
The biggest thing, obviously, JD mentioned it, kind of the education side of it, I think is very important.
You talk about, you know, the industry that we're in and where we're at in the industry.
I think it's very important to use our multimedia type avenues to educate maybe the younger generation.
And at the same time, we've got to probably keep light on a little bit of our consumer as well.
Maybe some people outside the world, the show pig world or the show pig community.
So just really excited to kind of give the back page story or kind of the raw story of maybe some instances, some things that happened with a particular pig that may be sold or, you know, somebody's story that you maybe don't know super well, but they can kind of go through some of those things.
And we can shed light on kind of the behind behind the barn or inside the barn with the doors closed type of deal.
J.D., I got one for you.
I mean, what gap do you think we're trying to fill with this podcast?

Well, I think we're at a little bit of an interesting point and maybe the timeline of show pig raising.

I know a lot of the people that I bought show pigs from when I was an exhibitor are probably getting a little bit towards the tail end of their careers of raising show pigs.

And we've got just a whole new group of breeders that are young and are really getting after it.

And I think you know, in terms of just bridging that gap, I think it's going to be awesome to just get perspective from both sides of that.

And then, you know, there's this whole new generation coming up of guys that are just fixing to get started or honestly are still youth exhibitors that may have a dream of being a show pig breeder someday.

And, Man, I just think it's going to be cool to get perspective from the guys that have done it forever and then kind of the new age guys as well.

And just the combination of the old tricks you can learn and just all the industry secrets and traits that we've all been doing for so long.
