So why is this last bit the hardest bit to lose? Well, let me break this down firstly in terms of science so you guys can actually understand a little bit why this would be.

When you are obviously severely overweight, that is a place where our body will not put much resistance to lose weight.

If you've got lots of excess body fat, then you are going to seamlessly lose weight.

This is why a lot of guys I speak to, sometimes they've lost the initial part themselves.

They come to me as a transformation expert to go and get to that next level, but they've actually somewhat done some of that initial work because initially losing weight is not that hard.

Like if you're like 20, 30 kilos overweight, you don't need to be that perfect to lose some weight, right? You could literally just cut a bit of crap, move a little bit more, stop drinking loads of pints at the weekend, and you're probably just going to find that weight will fall off you quite quickly.

But as you keep losing more and more and more and more weight, what you have to remember is that your body's going to put up a little bit of a fight.

Because if you think about it like this, guys, like our body is set up to keep us alive.

So the more weight that you keep losing, there becomes a point where our body's thinking, hang on a second, what's going on right now? Like we've been on a calorie restriction for such a long time now.

If we keep not giving our body nutrients, eventually we're going to die, right? I mean, it's just the way it is.

Like if you don't eat for a long period of time, If you don't drink water, obviously you can last a long time, but eventually you will die.

Our body is doing everything it can to sustain us to be able to stay alive, right? So if we continue to lose weight, it becomes a point where that last bit becomes very challenging because our body is going to start putting out resistance.

Generally, the point of getting to an average in kind of a somewhat healthy position, that is the point is actually not that difficult.

Like you can kind of get to that position without going through some of these things or feeling some of these symptoms that I'm about to go through because the body's not going to put that much of a fight up.
