Danette BreitenbachHostI think when people visit South Africa, the one thing they always talk about are the people.
And I think we don't realize how... much of a strength that is because we're in it, right? But I think foreigners are always drawn to us as people.
We might not have the most resources, but there's a certain quality of being South African that is very, very, like, powerful and attractive to people.
I was in Cannes, and every time I saw a stage full of white males, it felt so weird.
And we don't even realize how far far ahead we are of the rest of the world and especially now when the rest of the world's trying to claw back all the initiatives but we have an interesting melting pot of wonderful warm people um who for the most part get along no matter where they're from or what they have you know um so that is definitely a strength for me the other strength is our incredible um You know, inventiveness or we are a nation of hustlers.
And that's also something that is not the standard elsewhere in the world.
You know, we've got, I think if we could harness all that power of the nation to hustle and to innovate, we'd be unstoppable, you know.
