What is that, how do you, can you define your creative process in terms of how you write music?

So, um, for example, with that song, with that song Anthony, um, you know, I was thinking about, you know, being, when I was little and, you know, losing my belongings all the time, and how my grandfather taught me to pray to the patron saint of lost things, Saint Anthony.

And you know, it was just sort of like a little thing that I used to do, just when I was running round the house frantic, like, "Saint Anthony, where the hell is it?" [laughs]

You know? I just sort of like had it in my head that these things would turn up because I was being guided by some guy in the sky.

Um, and it was just sort of like a, a c- a sense of comfort, I suppose, for someone who was just like a bit of a frantic, chronic loser of their things.

Um, and then, you know, I sort of had this thought in my head, but what about when you lose yourself or you lose your sense of self? You know, is that, is that something that, you know, you can, you can call on-

... on the s- on the saint for? And I'm not, like I'm not particularly religious, but I just sort of thought, oh, what an interesting concept, you know? Like, the loss of self or the, or a loss of sense of self is, is a very relatable thing.

I think everybody goes through periods of their life where they don't know who they are.

They've lost their sense of self, and they don't, they have a sense of like needing to find something, but they don't know where to look.

And so I kind of played around with that, with that idea, and you know, I started just writing.

I, you know, I put down little sentences that I like, and sometimes someone will say something really profound, and I'll like it, and I'll just, my phone notes are just filled with things.

And just, you just go back and you revisit it, and then, you know, it's just like a, it's a puzzle.
