But let's, let's, uh, wind back to, um, what day was it? Friday for us, Matthew, Thursday for you, Nathan.

Um, not a surprising result because obviously it's an away game in, in Mexico at altitude.

If I'm honest, I think technically speaking not a great deal really did go wrong.

Um, tactically I, I think Korea clearly set out to limit Mexico and hoped to, you know, steal a goal, and I think, to be honest, you know, with watching the first half in particular, I, I got the sense that everyone would've probably been happy enough with a 0-0.

So it didn't really feel like there was much intensity to the game for either side really.

Um, and I think Korea did actually do the job as, again, again, mostly in the first half really well of limiting Mexico.

And the only reason the game plan did kind of unfold was because of a, you know, to put it bluntly, a really, really poor error.

Uh, but I don't think- They had enough about them intensity-wise, creativity-wise.

Again, I, I criticized it last week, I don't think the forward line, um, is working at its best.

I, I've, I actually don't think, um, Son has really adapted to his role at this World Cup.

Um, and yeah, I, I think there was just that lack of space for both teams, but and then just a real lack of agency until the end of the game.

But like, you know, when, when you're only really getting that intensity for the last few minutes, all right, you can hang your hat on the chances at the end, but, you know, if, if you, if those are the only chances you've created in an entire game, you, you can't really complain too much I don't think.

The game plan was working, wasn't it, for the first half and the first five minutes of the second half, and then I think the nature of the goal really was a bit of a sucker punch because, you know, th- it wasn't just any goal, it was a mistake, and it was a bit of, um, it was a bit of a, a mess almost.

But there's been some talk, and it seems like people might be in, in one of two camps.

But we, you and I were texting, Nathan, and it, we sort of, for us, I think it's the, it's the goalkeeper's at fault, who has said himself that he was at fault.

Uh, to throw in a bit of a local reference to Liverpool, he, he was standing like a Crosby Beach statue.
