That was about a 50, you know, no matter what you think about him as a player, that's about a 50 million swing on budget and flexibility as to what we can do.

Then Agate got injured.

Aside from the profile of players, which I think suit Carrick's model very, very well.

couple weeks time classic signing another injured player just yeah Santos is the risk I guess because he hasn't had a lot of football really and and it is a it's quite a large fee for a Chelsea reserve ish but there you go I think in the end they've paid decent amounts of money and if they'd sold Rashford and Xerxe and Ugarte then that would you know for the fees that they probably wanted as well as a few of the younger players that have gone on Vitek and and so on then yes there's probably an extra left back or or it may well have spunk that money on a wide left forward as well to replace Rashford who knows Who knows how that would have worked out.

What has happened with the United's wages then? Because three new players in, no one really significant has left Champions League bump.

I think he's a ball of energy.

But I just think last week he was shown up a little bit by Rashford's pace and creativity.

And I like him as a player and I think he can play right back.

I just think that for a game like this, you could look at it both ways.

Well, there was a passage of play in the first half.

I don't know why you picked up on it, but Marcus Rashford got the ball on the left-hand side and ran down to the byline, right? Following him.

There was nobody in the box for the lad to pass the ball to.

You need runners into that box.

Well, the focal point was Sesco when he came on and he got his goal.

Marcus Rashford was making runs and nobody was running with him.

Again, Rashford looks the most exciting on the pitching.

I thought Rashford looked good.

I think what I like about Rashford is that I think it's kind of helped him.

There's less spotlight on him than I thought there was going to be.

I don't feel like Marcus Rashford being back at Man United has been anywhere near as big as a conversation as I thought it was going to be.

And I think he's just kind of come in and just got on with it and played quite well.

Him and Shaw look like they've got a good relationship down that side from an attacking point of view.

I also do think, though, that Carrick mismanaged a little bit.

If he had left Rashford on and subbed Bruno off, I think they'd win that game.

I really do think United take that, because Rashford was causing a lot more problems at that late phase than Bruno was.

But that said, you can only play the players in front of you, and we did a very admirable job not giving up the fight until literally the last kick of the game.
