The emotions that you're feeling that the trigger brings to daylight, that you're pretty much reliving the situation again, that makes it different from a trigger versus just a memory, right? Yes,

There's a nervous system there.
dysregulation going on.
That's what's going on.
And people don't understand that, that there is something going on where the entire body, mind, everything is alert.
It's called nervous system for a reason.
Because we're
nervous.
You know, and so the body is all alert, but there's a dysregulation in that of like, I need to be on guard.
Oh my gosh.
What's going on? Like, well, that was just like you said, a bad memory.
And it's so much more than bad memories.
It's something that literally happened to them and they experienced.

Can you have a physical reaction? Oh, yeah.
I mean, you can have panic attacks.
You can, I
mean,
really think about it.
You can, like I said, avoidance.
