Josh Brownhill joins Jake Dearden to discuss his journey from the Manchester United academy to senior football, captaining teams, the pressure of Premier League football, dealing with fan criticism…
Has there ever been, like, a point where... you've noticed a weakness within like your game and you've like, shit, I need to work on that.
I think, I think a lot, to be honest, like I'm probably in the position that I am not because I'm the best player or like been the best player in teams.
Like there's, I've met so many people who are like technically probably like far better than like what I am.
And I make sure that like, for example, like working hard and running and like tackling and, given like 100%, if like technically I'm not doing that well in the game, at least I'm running around and trying to like, you know, work hard and stuff.
But through like hard work and stuff, like that's probably where I've got to in my career really.
Like weaknesses wise, Yeah, just a bit of like, I don't know, like being quick.
I'm not like the quickest person in the world or like trying to like take people on and do skills.
It's always like passing and controlling and shooting and tackling and running.
Yeah, to be honest, it's like, it's not like, training's not like the hardest thing in the world.
Some, like I was under, Sean Dyche, for example, in like pre-seasons and running was a big thing with him.
