i thought well number one let's get into the hoopla leading up into game three right so we had a lot of things going on first finals game in new york and since 99 right you got the ticket prices that were up to 10 000 at least minimum to kind of get into or that's what they were saying um You had the president of the United States going to be attending.

So then you had extra, extra security around the fences everywhere.

The normal block parties that they would have weren't really going on in the area that they normally have it, but they had them all throughout the city.

So that was that.

Eric, I'm going to ask you one question before you kind of get into it.

Do you think... that this was a distraction for the New York Knicks game three with all the things going on.

I, I think, you know, I don't know if you want to call it distraction or call it getting, maybe being, maybe being a little tight or all of the above, but I, so obviously the games are decided, you know, between the lines, like on the court.

And I'm, and I really truly believe that, but sometimes there is like a game between the game.

or within the game, I should say.

And I remember last show I talked about where I think maybe San Antonio might run into a buzzsaw in the beginning of this game.

But the more the weekend went by, I kind of started thinking like, man, this just seems so long, even though it was just obviously three, I guess, almost full days.

But something about this buildup, right? Spurs were down 2-0, Knicks up 2-0, coming back to New York, haven't won it in years since the early 70s.

You heard a lot of New York folk, people that have been Knicks fans for a long time, they could taste it.

They're talking about a parade this weekend.

I was listening to someone right yeah exactly and it just got me thinking like obviously with president donald trump right it uh being there too um it really started making me think like man this is just a lot and i'm i kind of feel good about san antonio you got a wimby like sitting in central park painting i don't know if you saw that

um right kind of relaxed and you know i know the feelings of this past weekend and the game finally getting here, I'm really not surprised the Spurs came out and threw the first punch and obviously ultimately won.

Like, what are your thoughts? I'm assuming, I mean, you got to think it has to have a somewhat of an effect.
