I think it's like 15 minutes, and this episode will be a solo shorty episode.
I know everybody is, some people are really great at boundaries, and some people are not.
I know I talk about boundaries a lot, and I talk about boundaries a lot because we work in an industry that's very emotional, and we work in an industry where we're always trying to please people and make people happy, and that's sometimes how we value ourselves.
So I want to make sure that you are anchoring yourself down for the rest of the year, and that we're keeping it professional, and that we're keeping our boundaries high, but also flexible for our own self.
So let's go over boundaries and bundling and where your business could be bleeding you dry.
It's also gonna be great for commission salon owners and commission stylists if you're kind of like letting everybody ...
So this episode's gonna cover everyone, and that was some of the feedback that I received.
One of the messages that we received is that you want more of, like, who's this episode for, and should I be listening to it? So this episode's gonna be for everyone, especially when it comes to any type of boundaries.
Now, when it comes to some of your pricing, I think we forget that commission salon owners are the ones setting their pricing, and sometimes they have a hard time setting those prices too, or they feel that way.
If you're a commission stylist and you're like, "Eh," but you can listen to the times portion, this would actually be a great episode for you Now, I don't know about you, but I've really gotten into bundling lately, and I don't really mean to, but it just happens.
And I actually just had a meeting with somebody, and we were talking about bundling, and it's so true.
I ask all the time, I'll ask a independent stylist specifically, they will...
And even a commission stylist, which I'm not throwing anybody under the bus, because you're really not supposed to be doing this, but I'll ask things like, "Okay, so how much is it for..." And I'll list off a bunch of services.
So a partial highlight, a, you know, a retouch, and a toner, and a haircut.
And I get a lot of, "Well, if you're a new client." [laughs] What is that? We're not grandfathering in pricing.
