## What can you actually learn about your body in five days? I'm currently doing a simple five-day metabolic protocol alongside nearly 100 women, and in this episode I'm sharing what I'm noticing by…

And if you're doing this with me, you're right in the middle of a five day metabolic protocol.

And so I thought today would be a really good time for us to talk about like what I'm actually noticing in my own body, what has gone well over so far during this five day protocol.

This episode will drop tomorrow sometime, probably not first thing in the morning, but I intentionally... wanted to have about three days completed before I recorded this because I wanted to talk about kind of what I'm noticing sort of halfway, a little over halfway through the protocol, what has gone well, what has absolutely not gone perfectly.

And more importantly, I want to talk about things that I think you should be paying attention to in your week, those of you who are doing this.

And maybe you signed up to do this with me and you're not doing it yet, but this will really help you as you do implement the protocol when you do, maybe it's next week or when have you.

And so you'll kind of be armed with this because the point of these five days is not to prove that you can follow a plan perfectly for five days or for any amount of time, actually.

And it was never my intention or the point of this for you to, you know, like see how much weight you can lose by Friday or see, you know, who out of the hundred women can lose the most weight by Friday.

The whole reason I wanted to do this and I encouraged you to do this is I wanted to simplify things for you enough that, that you could actually pay attention to what's going on in your body.

Like what happens when you consistently eat in a specific way that is supportive of your metabolism? What happens when there's enough protein, there's enough fiber and produce in those meals, for example? What happens and how does your body respond when you stop picking at food, snacking all day, grazing all day, as I like to call it? When you drink enough water, how does your body respond? What is enough water, first off? And then when you do hydrate well enough, what does your body do? How does it behave differently than what you've normally experienced? What happens when you move a little bit more? What happens when you incorporate walks in your day, for example? And especially if those of you who are reporting to me that you're taking the suggestion and the little tip to even be a little more strategic with your walks and you're walking after a meal happens.

How is that showing up for you? What's different about that? When you pay attention to your sleep, how is your body responding for you? And overall, what is your body telling you? That's the real experiment of these five days.

So let me kind of start here and tell you what, like what my body's been telling me, what, what has, what this has looked like for me this time.
