It's time to score the winning points in the lead up to a much more serious werewolf puberty movie with the classic, Teen Wolf! Join Nicho and Chris a s they explore how Teen Wolf is clearly not shot…
It is about a teenage boy's transformation into a werewolf and local celebrity in the small town of Beacontown, Nebraska.
Oh,
boy.
it's also the story of how puberty is fine and normal aren't you excited for puberty
puberty is fun for guys
yeah we'll we'll get to the girl version in a different movie this movie is wildly different than that one though
Okay, so here's the thing.
Werewolfism in general has been a common comparison to puberty for a long time.
It's one of the original, you know, tropes.
Usually though, it's not done in kind of a fun sort of way.
It's usually done to deal with like the raging hormones or the change of your body and not knowing who you are.
STDs.
Yeah, that's a very common one.
The whole feeling like you're a monster and don't know yourself anymore.
This one has all of those things that I just said, but instead of horror, it went with cute.
Yeah, and here's the thing.
I like the general idea enough.
It's fun and it's charming.
It is.
I appreciate the twist of starting the opening credits more like horror and then just going right into a comedy.
It's only comedy.
There's nothing spooky about this.
