There was a little field that was holding, like, 20 geese, and I thought, "You know what? Let's go out for a quick hunt quickly, and then pack up and scout." And Colton took off in one direction, and I took off in the other direction.
And, uh, so we had one volley of birds come in, and we shot five out of the flock of 12.
Coulda hung out longer, probably coulda got a few more volleys, but we just wanted to kind of bust up that middle of the island feid- feed.
Um, and then yeah, lots, lots of birds around, probably six or seven different feeds that we, you know, kind of have stake claim to.
Uh, ran into them at the, uh, gas station last Saturday, and there's a few, uh, pieces of leg jewelry that has been added to the local marshes here.
Um, probably, probably pushing close to a couple hundred bands that were, that were put out, so.
Uh, like I said, by the time this podcast airs, we will be, uh, in the field for the first morning of duck camp, and, um, just looking forward to have seeing all the boys.
And we got a group chat going here, and it's, it's gotten pretty lively in the last 24 hours, I would say.
