You've probably typed your labs into ChatGPT at some point, or asked it a question you were too tired to bring up at your next appointment. Maybe you got an answer back that felt more personal than…
But today I really want to talk about What we're seeing when it comes to our clients in particular, our flourishers, and I'm sure a lot of you have been experimenting with AI too, where women are kind of like feeding their own labs into chat GPT, getting answers that feel personalized.
I truly think that Sometimes you just have to embrace something, even if you don't like it.
However, there is a certain nuance that we've learned, myself, the director, our director, Maddie, and Christina, our operation person.
So there's a little bit of a nuance to how to use AI and use it really well, and also how not to be harmed by it.
So today, I really want to teach about where AI can genuinely be helpful for you and supporting you with creating your health plans or tracking your health plans and kind of where it might kind of go a little bit off track.
And I want you to have a better understanding of how to tell where you should use AI and where it might not be serving you very well.
So first, let's start with why are women such as yourself sometimes reaching for AI? Why are you deciding to use AI? And I think a big part of it comes from Feeling under-supported and feeling unheard and just wanting more, knowing that there's more out there, but the conventional system just feels like they haven't stepped up their game yet to support you in that avenue.
especially if you're listening to this podcast, I know that you are more health oriented, whereas the medical system can be, as many people say, very much more disease oriented.
So you're like, where do I go for my health advice? If not a lot of my medical providers, because they might not have the time, energy, education to support me in that.
Other reasons that we might be hearing are, or I would just assume, honestly, because you're probably not telling me this, is that you might be feeling a little bit embarrassed because maybe it's easier to speak with AI about sexual health or even emotional health, or it's just kind of sometimes hard to be vulnerable sometimes, or sometimes even hard to get your words together, which I experience all the time when doing this podcast episode.
It's hard to kind of get through your feelings and put it into coherent sentences, which makes it hard to have the conversation with a healthcare provider sometimes in the 10-minute appointment that you might be having with them.
Sometimes it's even hard to find someone to be vulnerable with because maybe you don't have that comfort level with your healthcare provider.
But maybe you're just curious because people are like myself, we're talking about it.
Maybe it's even part of your job and you already have to use AI because of whatever your job might be.
So I think the big reasons we see, though, are just people feeling under supported on like just not informed to the degree that they want to be and just feeling on for it.
