The Final Score: Is PSG the best team on the planet...and everything Manchester City dream to be?

yeah I don't no I do I love Paris welcome to the final score with me Neil Humphreys Paris fan Audrey Seek and of course Zia Ol Roshan the question we are asking all of our wonderful listeners this morning quite provocative have a think Are PSG now the world's greatest football team? We say that because breaking news.

We've just had the latest round of Champions League results.

And listen to this, Roshan.

PSG didn't just beat Barcelona.

They smashed them 4-2.

PSG 4, Barcelona 2.

Are we definitively seeing a changing of the guard?

I think we are.

I really think we are.

I think it speaks volumes of the loss where Barcelona are at the moment.

But also PSG, back-to-back Champions League winners.

And they just seem to be getting stronger with each passing week.

Always easy to say they play in a Farmers League, the French League, not the most competitive.

But when they come to Europe, they're showing other teams up.

And I think that's testament to how good they actually are.

Yeah, and that was the Achilles heel, wasn't it, for so many years.

Yes, you're winning the Farmers League, but you're getting to the quarterfinals, semifinals.

You're not getting it over the line.

They've gone back to back, haven't they, in the Champions League.

They're ruling the continent now.

I saw a great review in The Guardian that said it was like watching a PSG serial killer attacking the Barcelona badge with a blood-soaked chainsaw because that's the thing about the PSG attack.

It just never stops.

I mean, the two key guys overnight were Due and Hernandez, and they just kept attacking, attacking, attacking.

I still think their defence isn't the best.

I think if you go man for man, you could argue Arsenal has a better defence than PSG, but it almost doesn't matter.
