Um, you know, you talked about, like, am I framing it right? And it, you know, in my, in my experience it, like, always kind of all...

Assuming that it's not, like, a ridiculously stupid idea, right? Like, it's always kinda comes down to framing.

And, you know, when you're presenting, you know, I'm just kind of imagining that on that third attempt when you're like, "Look, this is what the program would look like," I'm sure that what he saw was way different than what he was imagining.

"Oh, this is just another bunch of a bunch of meetings, and this is gonna make it harder for us to hit our goals," or whatever those sort of objections that he was sort of imposing, you know- ... on, uh, were probably like evaporated away when you saw, like, "Oh, this is actually gonna be pretty easy." And then sort of a lot of those doors opened.

So but again, to your point, without that persistence to say, like, "Okay, well, that didn't work, I'm gonna try it again." And you know, I mean, there's ...

We could write a, we could have a whole hour or, or a whole series talking about these, like-

the lessons learned from these sort of endurance sports and how they apply to life or how they applied to building a program.

I'd love to talk a little bit about, like, that sort of, that pinch point, right? Like when you deci- you know, you said it yourself, you're like, "I wasn't like exhausted.

But then when you talked about you had your strongest finish on this most recent race, you were like, "I could have kept going.

Like I was me..." You know, you kept pointing to like you were mentally so much stronger.

And um, I think so much of endurance sports is a mental game, and so mu- I mean, I think it's all kind of a mental game, right? Like it's all a mindset game.

And how did you kinda overcome that DNF? How did you not let that be like a defining ...

Like 'cause a lot of people, they DNF something like that and they say, "You know what? I'm just gonna stick to marathons."

You know, how did you not let that sort of say, you know, close the door on this for you? And how did you, like how did you come to the realization that that was really a mental battle, you know, you know, uh, you know, stopping at, at mile 30? Like talk to me about that, really the core of that lesson.
