This is How You Know God is Testing You

If you found this video today, it may not be an accident.

Maybe you're carrying something heavy.

Maybe you've been praying, and the heavens feel like they're shut, and a part of you is starting to wonder if God even sees what you're walking through right now.

So before you scroll, give me a few minutes, because I believe the Lord may wanna say something to you through his Word today.

What if the thing that feels like it's breaking you is not God punishing you, and it's not God abandoning you? What if you're in a test? Not a test to see if you'll fail or succeed, God already knows that, but a test that he can use to build something in you that comfort never could.

Let's open the Word and talk about it.

Okay, so maybe you're in a place where you're saying, "I didn't ask for this," or perhaps you're being faced with a decision, you're being forced to make a decision that you never thought you'd have to make.

Maybe life took a turn, and all of a sudden everything feels chaotic.

What was familiar is no more.

What was certain is now confusing, and you find yourself in this place where you're frustrated and stuck between two extremes.

Your spirit wants to run to God, feel his presence, and experience his goodness.

Your flesh wants to run away from God because of entitlement, resentment, anger, and frustration at the situation that you find yourself in.

And that really is the challenge because when you face these trials, you're filled with questions.

"God, why did you allow this? God, why am I going through this? God, why did you choose me specifically?" Or, "Things were already hard enough, and now I have to deal with this." Or maybe it's the opposite.

Things were going so well.

There was so much momentum.

I was growing.

I was developing.

I was finally seeing the fruition of everything I had worked for.

Now all of a sudden, there's this thing that's just blocking the way.

You're frustrated with the fact that it's taking so long to see what you would call breakthrough or freedom.

Let me tell you, this is a season of struggle.

This is a trial, and we as believers all face this.
