How do you balance your work life and your family life? Being a registered nurse, do you work shift work, or how do you do that?

I've, I've got a manager who is very accommodating of my family life, so I'm very fortunate in that I mostly do early shifts, and I, I do get to work, for the most part, the shifts that I work for my family.

But at the same time, it is the, uh, being a nurse and the inputs that are required emotionally, psychologically-

And I, at the moment, I'm trying to balance what I do in terms of what I, how much I'm willing to invest in work.

So what I put in at work often is going to take away from what I can input into the family.

So I'm, in terms of balance- I'm really navigating and trying to figure out how to work with a finite capacity, finite energy, and put boundaries up at work so that I'm not over-giving.
