Castle Soul has come up a lot on the show, but frankly, usually it's more actually just the Eclipse.

Castle Soul is just kind of the venue where the topic that the show talks about takes place.

With it being the Eclipse so often, you know, when Castle Soul gets brought up, but I actually wanted to talk about Castle Soul a little bit as a dungeon because that's something that's happened on the show before, you know, with Belerat, Stormvale, all sorts of other places.

So the wiki, just to back up for a second, the wiki and other places use a term called minor legacy dungeons for things like Castle Ensys in the DLC.

I think that Castle Soul feels of a relatively comparable size to something like Castle Ensys, and I kind of assume that that minor Legacy Dungeon term just kind of came about because of the DLC.

Pretty much all I remember about Castle Ensys And I think that's kind of the trap that a lot of the minor legacy dungeons, I guess, or the lesser dungeons, that's kind of the trap they fall into because I have a similar takeaway from Castle Soul.

If you remove the Eclipse stuff, and I'm not, obviously that has to be part of it if you're evaluating the area, but I just mean, like, don't think about the lore implications.

Which makes sense from a lore standpoint when you have the Banished Knights and everything.

But I just wish, especially with the Eclipse being such a big deal, I wish that, for example, I guess this would be a cool place to have had a Death Knight.

I know they only got added in the DLC, but something like that would have been really cool here.

A unique knight enemy or a unique something connected to everything going on here.

Because while mechanically I find Castle Soul kind of boring, The lore is huge, and so you can't really take away from that.

And so I think that there should have been more, this should have been beefed up more from an encounter standpoint.
