Sticking with the flow that I've been using for the last few weeks, looking through the rest of the DLC areas that haven't really been talked about yet, I want to start this off by looking at the Abyssal Woods before really zooming in on the aging untouchables and how they add such an immense level of terror and fun, depending on how you look at it, to this biome of the game.

The Abyssal Woods is a place that has come up a lot other times on the show because you have the bosses that bookend this area, Yoori, the Elder Inquisitor, and Midra, the Lord of Frenzied Flame in Midra's Manse, which both have had already their own episodes as part of topics, uh, and discussions on the show previously.

Midra being one of the pinnacle bosses, one of the remembrance bosses of the DLC, Midra's episode is all the way back at episode 38, while Yoori, the Elder Inquisitor, which is the entry boss to this area of the DLC, Yoori's episode was episode 117.

So if you want a lot more discussion specifically on those two bosses, uh, and even Midra's Manse, uh, as that is obviously part of Midra's discussion, that legacy dungeon, that is where you can go to check out those if you haven't already checked those out.

I really want to focus on the woods proper today because even though this has almost nothing to actually do, I think in this case, that is a great part of the design of the area.

And so the area between those two boss fights, the actual woods proper, will be the main focus today, but of course, you can just go look at those episodes for those topics.

Like, it, it's a spirit, you know, spectral steed, so you can just bring him back.

But you have to think about Frenzied Flame and the fact that that is the presence, the, uh, force that has really gotten a hold of this place.
