In this episode, Ed explores one of the most overlooked moments in Scripture—the spies who saw themselves as "grasshoppers" in the presence of giants. Their greatest enemy wasn't the giants standing…

Instead of having confidence in who we are in Jesus, fear ends up ruling us to the point where our identity becomes like grasshoppers.

If we go back and read carefully, the people said, we were like grasshoppers in our own sight.

Now ask yourself, what do you think about yourself? Do you think you're not good enough? Do you think you're not loved because maybe your dad or your mom left you or your girlfriend left you or your wife left you? Do you think that because your family is poor and they've always been poor that that's how it just is? Do you think that maybe because there was substance abuse in your family that it's just that way and it just is what it is? Do you think of yourself not worthy or not smart enough or not good enough? Well, who gave you all these thoughts? You know, having years of trauma causes you to feel small amongst these giants.

Do you see yourself through the lens of past pains and not God's promise? You know, those things and those pains, if they're not dealt with, are access points to the enemy to make you think these things wrong.

How you see yourself is one of the most important parts when it comes to spiritual warfare.

The more you think of yourself as unworthy, weak, et cetera, the stronger the grip of the enemy becomes.

But if you start thinking about yourself the way God says you are, this grip starts loosening.
