I got the guts to call you, so here I am.
Um, I'm calling because I was in a five-year relationship with a man that I loved, thought I was gonna be with forever.
I mean, still feel that way, but...
And it's been about a year and a half since he ended it, and I've spent the last year and a half kind of-
Well, we were together for about two years, and then I had a work opportunity that required me to be away a lot and in a growing capacity.
So, you know, not being around and then saying I'd be around and trying to juggle it all and make it all happen, and broken promises, and I'll be home, and I'm not.
And, um, you know, after a few years of that, obviously it just became too much, and I was trying to please everything or thought I could figure out a way to make it balance and get it under control before I lost it, um, which I wasn't able to, and so I lost him.
Um-
Well, this is the kind after he had broke up with me, and I, you know, was obviously able to really hear things with him.
I, eh, I just made all the changes that I wanted to, that I felt like I couldn't before.
I didn't have the tools or was overwhelmed, and I just started doing it.
So, you know, I'm not doing that job anymore.
Um, yeah, I kinda left it all because I realized in losing him, which is one thing I didn't wanna lose, then really all those other things didn't matter.
So I just-
... started to kinda rebuild back up and all the things that I-
So there was no chance of getting it back together now that you quit the job?
No.
He had said no, and so I respected that.
And, um, I-- So I just spent, you know, the next...
