I Feel Excluded From My Brother’s Wedding

Hi.

Um, thanks for taking my call.

That was really quick.

Um, I'm excited to get your perspective on something that's been weighing on my mind.

so my, um, I come from maybe a family of limp dicks, and my brother is one of them, I would say.

And he's getting married in April, and I wanna make sure I'm doing the right thing.

So I've been close to my brother.

We're 10 years apart.

I've been close to him my entire life.

What does close to him actually mean? How do you define close to him? I'm not sure I know what that actually means.

10 years difference, and he's a male.

So tell me about the closeness.

How does it show itself?

So growing up, my mom worked a ton.

Um, I feel like I kind of helped raise him.

Not kind of, I, I helped raise him.

Um, the summers I was...

He didn't go to daycare.

I, I was his second mom, and, um, I've just always felt this really close bond with him.

Um, kind of jokingly said he was my firstborn.

Um, and so-

You do understand what that means for the younger person.
