But I looked, I looked at the calendar and I thought, "Damn, shit, we're six months in." And, you know, I've been having conversations with, you know, with some, you know, some women in my DMs, some coaches in my DMs who are feeling frustrated, right? It's June, which obviously we're halfway through the year, and a lot of the women that I'm talking to have...

Number one, they're tired, right? They're t- they're trying to grow their coaching business, and, uh, and they're frustrated, right? They're not getting the traction that they want.

You know, they sat down in January, um, and really had high expectations of where the year was gonna go and how they were really going to grow their business.

Uh, you know, maybe they told a friend, or they wrote it in a journal, or, you know, they, they told their partner or whatever, and they had a lot of hope.

And that's, that's really what I want to spend a little bit of time today just talking about because, you know, one thing I know to be true in this space, especially being an entrepreneur in the online space, is it can feel very isolating.

And especially, you know, I think when we're looking at Instagram, everybody just wants to talk about the highlight reels, right? And, like, kind of like the good shit that hap- that's, that's happening.

Um, but nobody's r- but nobody really comes forward and talks about, like, "You know what? Damn, this launch that I did, it fucking bombed." Right? Or, "Damn, I woke up this morning thinking, like, how the hell am I gonna make, you know, the, the money this month? Where are the clients gonna come from this month in order to cover my expenses?" Right? Like, these are the types of things that you're, you're really not seeing on Instagram.

I can tell you this is so much of why I love, um, being in circles with other entrepreneurs and other coaches because...

And so I've always been in a mastermind, um, just because, um, this is, that is the space where people can get real and really talk about stuff like that.

And I can tell you that, um, you know, if you are already not in any sort of community like that, I highly recommend, um, that you do, just because it kind of normalizes the ups and the downs of this business.

And so I wanted to just use, you know, this time today, if you're not, especially if you're not in that kind of community, um, just to, um, just to talk about that.

And I wanted to kinda, to, to peel back the curtain even some things that have happened in my business, um, that, that I might not talk about front facing on, you know, on social media.

But I think it's important to have these conversations, right? And so, you know, if you are somebody who's b- you know, like I said, this was supposed to be your year and you're feeling frustrated, um, that, you know, you're, you're trying to grow the business and it doesn't seem to be working, um, I just wanna honor and recognize how fucking hard that is, right? How hard that is, not only, um, because I think just for your own, like, just your...

You know, what I know about most entrepreneurs is most of us are, maybe we got a little skosh of, uh, perfectionism in us.

For most entrepreneurs that I know, um, we, when we do things, we typically do them well.

Um, for most entrepreneurs that I know, there is this, like, unbelievable, like, fear of failing.

And so when you are constantly working your ass off in the business, um, and either things are happening randomly, like this is so much of what we talked about last week, um, i- is random business versus predictable business, right? Um, you know, when you, when you, things are happening random and you've got that, like, emotional whiplash, um, it just wears your ass out, right? It just absolutely wears you out, which is also why it's so damn important to be really working towards, um, a, a predictable model in your business so that you can really get out of that kind of unpredictability, right? Because that, that, that'll just, that again, that'll burn your ass out over time.

And I think though, in addition to it being so emotionally wearing on yourself, right? I think also it can be really hard because you can really get in your head about this, especially if you've, like, told a lot of people, um, you know, that y- that you're doing this, right? Or this is something you've been working on, your business you've been working on for the last, you know, six months, a year, beyond, right? Um, you know, your friends, your family, everybody knows that you're doing this.

And then when you feel like you're not really getting anywhere, that just really starts to, like, chip away at your confidence.

It starts to, you know, affect your, you know, your, uh, like imposter syndrome can start to come up, right? I just had this conversation just in my mastermind 'cause I, I do have a mastermind that I, that I, um, uh, host as well.
