all right all right welcome back to the dad nation podcast and listen brother i am so excited about this series like i said in the intro we are going to take five weeks in a row back to back and i'm going to walk you through what i call the marriage reset okay it's going to be a five part series and all the five different parts of what i believe it takes to have an incredible marriage And listen, not because your marriage necessarily needs to be rebuilt from the ground up, right? Maybe some of you are, maybe a lot of you don't, but because sometimes it just needs to be reset, right? Sometimes life gets so busy, work gets so demanding, kids require so much that without ever intending to, we slowly drift from the very relationship that we promised would always come first, right? And here's what I've learned in all my years of coaching and leading and mentoring others.

Listen, very few men wake up one morning and just decide, you know what? I think I'm going to neglect my marriage today.

Until eventually the person lying beside you in bed feels emotionally further away than you ever imagined possible.

Not because there was one big explosion, but because there was a slow and silent change.

Questions that have the potential to completely change the way you show up and the way you lead your marriage.

But before we get to today's anchoring question, I want us to unpack this drift in the first place and where it comes from.

Because I think this is the invisible enemy that every marriage is at risk of.
