The James Corbett Book (and Movie!) Club

As you will recall, at the tail end of last month's edition of the Film Literature New World Order podcast on Umberto Eco's Foucault's Pendulum, Cindy Sunshine was one of the listeners there in the live stream who made a suggestion specifically that I create CorbettReport.com slash books as the one-stop shop for the James Corbett Book Club, as apparently people are calling it now.

by which I guess she means film literature and the New World Order.

So if you want to play along at home and read next month's book or see next month's movie, then how do I find out what you're covering? Where do I go? It's very confusing.

All right, let's create the one-stop shop, corbettreport.com books.

And if you go there, you will see what is coming up next.

when the next live stream will be taking place.

And if you were a Corbett Report member, you will be able to log into the website and get the link to that next live stream when it's available.

So it'll all be there in one handy place where you can see all of the information you will need to Join the James Corbett Book Club.

Let's call it that if you want.

At any rate, if you would like to join that book club, well, first of all, you can, of course, sign up to become a member.

And when and if you do so, you will get a login for the website.

And when you log in, as I say, you will be able to get the live stream online.

So you can join in the discussion of the next edition of Film Literature New World Order, which will be on what exactly? Well, again, if you watched the last edition, you will know that we are going to be talking about Philip K.

Dick's The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldredge.

And I would attempt to at least give some sort of brief summary of what that book is, but that's difficult to do.

As you will see, if and when you choose to read that book, let's just say it's another crazy Philip K. Dickian tale of alternate realities and mind-bending substances.

the question of what is real, etc.

So it's pretty deep.

I enjoyed it.

I assume that there is a lot of people out there in the audience who would enjoy it.

And I've heard from some of them already who are looking forward to that live stream conversation.

So if you are one of those people, become a Corporate Report member, log into the website.

The link to that conversation will be there.

And specifically, the live stream for this conversation about Philip K. Dick's The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldridge will be taking place At, on, at on August 30th, 2026 at 7.30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.

So if you're in Toronto, if you're in New York, if you're on the Eastern Seaboard.
