If you only have a few minutes today, this is the episode you need to listen to.

And honestly, it's because it's the episode that I needed to record and I need to get out there.

And based upon some numbers that we're going to talk about here in a minute, there's like three of you listening.

So this is really just me externally processing and you get to be along for the ride.

And I need to get it done before Noah comes home from school in like 20 minutes.

So I want to talk a little bit about numbers and the numbers that I am looking at when I'm looking at my podcast.

So there's 144 people subscribed to the podcast, according to Apple Podcasts.

On average, according to Buzzsprout, my podcast hosting platform, this show gets about 30-ish downloads a week.

Also, according to Apple Podcasts, which gives you number of people who actually listened, not just downloaded, because we all know you can download podcasts if you're subscribed to them without actually listening.

And only nine of those people were engaged listeners, meaning they listened for more than half of the episode.

Highlighting the real, having conversations with our guests, having conversations with you about what's actually happening with the mental load of marketing and what we can do to lighten it.

And conversations that I hope to have with people outside of the podcast where maybe they heard something that I said or I shared something on social media that came from the podcast that resonated with somebody.

So the podcast job is conversations, generating conversations and then really generating content for other platforms.
