Talk to me more about that moment where you felt like things were starting to fail, where this curiosity started to be born from, that there was more to life, more to relationships and more to being human than just the body.

So when I was getting divorced or at least considering divorce, just realizing like this relationship was not moving in the right direction.

And it wasn't, you know, you could tell we were just running through the motions and we had our own social lives, our own trips, our own this and that.

And I may have mentioned before many men that I work with find that it's easier to distract themselves with women, wine and work.

There's a question that I ask all of my clients that came recently to me through a colleague was, what's more important to you, truth or peace?

And it becomes really important because most of us men, we become people pleasers in relationships because we fear losing love.

We get quiet or we go out and distract ourselves from really finding out what is true on the inside.

And the way to truth in my lived experience and my... clinical experience and my coaching experience is through the body because the body speaks before the brain listens.

So being able to create literacy around what's happening inside here and using it as a guide versus something to avoid or numb out to.

Tell me, what was that point in time post-divorce when you realized the three W's, women, wine and work, weren't the answer to everything? And although you had gone down this track of realizing there was more that was needed on your own spiritual and mental health journey, that somatics might be a missing piece to the puzzle.

So after my divorce, that stretched into my business closing after COVID affected us and closed the business.
