What Happens When You Stop Betraying Your Potential: The Message Behind CLS With Craig Siegel

Who is Craig Siegel? It's a funny question because for most of my life, I thought I knew.

I thought I was the Wall Street guy.

I thought I was the guy who hustled.

I thought I was the guy who outworked people.

The guy who could always walk into a room, shake hands, build relationships, make money, and prove himself over and over and over again.

And for a long time, That identity worked, at least from the outside.

You see, I had the job.

I had the income.

I had the energy.

I had the city.

I had the lifestyle.

I had the story that looked impressive when you told it to other people.

But the truth is, there was a season of my life where the outside of my life looked very different than the inside of my life.

On the outside, it looked like I was winning and winning big.

On the inside, I knew something was totally off.

And that's a very strange place to be, guys.

Because when you're struggling and everyone knows you're struggling, at least there's some sort of congruence there.

But when you're struggling and everyone thinks you're crushing it, that's a totally different kind of lonely.

Because then you start questioning yourself.

You think, why am I not more grateful? Why doesn't this feel like enough? Why did I work so hard to get here only to feel like there has to be something more? And I didn't have the language for it at that time, guys.

I didn't know I was in an identity crisis.

I didn't know that my soul was trying to get my attention, yearning for it.

I didn't know that the version of me that built that life was not the same version of me that was meant to live the next one.

I just knew I was tired.

I knew I was depleted.
