It's discipline in how you think, how you speak, and maybe most importantly, and I was just thinking about this on my run this morning, in how you interpret your life, because I was just listening to an audiobook about NLP, which I haven't listened to in quite some time, and we were talking about this idea of meta modeling.
So the idea is, is that none of us actually experience the world based on how the world is.
We experience it based upon our mental map of the world, right? So two people can have a similar past, similar capabilities, and look at the world now with a totally different map.
The idea is this, to cultivate such an enriching map of the world, in other words, such an expansive, limitless way of viewing the world, that anyone that gets to experience you has an immediate upgrade on what they believe to be possible in their life.
How cool is that? Have you ever been around someone and you're like, "Wow, I just wanna spend more time with them," or, "I don't even know what they're offering.
I think bigger when I'm in their presence." I imagine probably the opposite is true as well, right? So here's what I'm saying.
