The CLS Experience with Craig Siegel
Oct 1, 2026 · 7 min · 3 segments
In this minisode, Craig explores why letting go can feel so difficult, especially when we confuse familiarity with alignment. He breaks down how old…
[snaps fingers] Most people struggle with letting go because they confuse familiarity with alignment, but there's a huge distinction here.
Just because something is familiar does not mean it belongs in your next level, and a lot of you right now are carrying things that no longer match where you're going.
If you're carrying something that no longer matches where you're going, what might that look like? Old habits, old patterns, old relationship, old identities.
And then you're asking, "Why don't I feel clear?" Because your energy is overcrowded.
You ever declutter your office or your house, and all of a sudden new downloads come in? Ever done that? Think that's coincidence? Feng shui, right? Course not.
It's created by removing noise, and that's why every breakthrough, every breakthrough for me, every season of my life, it actually involved major subtraction, not addition, right? So what did I have to subtract? Distractions, big one coming up, misaligned relationships, certain environments, certain habits, and if I'm being brutally honest, certain versions of myself.
Spoiler alert, it feels uncomfortable because emptiness feels, well, unfamiliar.
But emptiness also creates space, and space allows truth and downloads to emerge.
Because when you remove the noise and you finally hear yourself or hear Creator...
A lot of people, by the way, are terrified of hearing themselves, so they stay busy.
This applies to business too, because sometimes your business isn't stuck because you need more strategy.
I know we're always looking for the next hack or algorithm or ad or funnel, right? Sometimes those stuff are helpful, I get it, but sometimes your business is stuck because your energy is fragmented.
You're trying to do too much, serve too many people, too many versions of yourself, and this can completely kill your momentum because you know what really scales? Simplicity.
And one of the biggest shifts that I had in my business just this year, it happened when I stopped asking what else can I add, and I started asking Creator, "What no longer belongs here?" Different question, different energy.
What are you tolerating right now that no longer matches your future? I want you to take a minute and really think about this, guys, because tolerations are super expensive.
You might be tolerating misalignment, indecision, low standards, energy leaks, inconsistency, and every tolerance quietly taxes your expansion.
