No Robots on Flights

But I did want to ask you, I wanted to kick off with, did you feel this earthquake?

No.

No, neither did I.

Did your phone go off, though? No.

Okay, because Android phones, the more up-to-date ones, not whatever you're running right here.

Not El Cheapo.

So apparently Google has an algorithm or something like that, and it knows where a bunch of phones start moving by themselves, sends that back to Google servers, and works out, oh, it's an earthquake, and then it pumps out this alert system, like, ahead of the earthquake for some people.

Yeah.

Yeah, so it sort of figures out, oh, it's there, and it starts ringing around it,

which is pretty cool.

So budget Android users, you're dead.

iPhone

users, you're having a comfy sleep.

Most budget, well, most Android users, yeah, I mean, it's giving you two, three seconds notice.

And I don't think Hamiltonians know how to handle an earthquake anyway.

No, they don't.

No, they don't.

Of course

not.

I mean, I grew up in Wellington.

Oh, yeah, yeah.

Earthquake drills was an almost weekly thing at school.

Yep.

Like, you would do – definitely a monthly thing.

You'd do earthquake drills every month because it's just – A ticking time bomb.
