“My Older Sister Sexually Abused Me” | Harriet Richards Breaks Her Silence

That was my only-

Yeah

... way of dealing with it.

You know, now you do some amazing stuff.

Yeah.

You're obviously a personal trainer-

Yeah, online coach

... coach, online coach.

Yeah.

You know, you look at your before and afters.

I've got Willie in the background as well who's, uh, got some pretty impressive transformations.

Yeah.

Um-

And I used to binge-

... your before and afters are unbelievable

Yeah, so I used to binge on drugs, then binge on food, 'cause you know you don't eat for however long.

I'd then gorge on the food.

So I've-- my weight has always been up and down, up and down, up and down, and I've always used something to mask how I'm feeling.

But since and after and during, um, my therapy, started to notice I wasn't needing to have that binging thing.

I didn't need that filling up feeling.

Um, and that was like, "Oh, this is weird." Like, "This is strange." But then I started to learn that because I'm letting this all out and letting go, healing from it, I don't need to abuse my body with drink, with drugs, with food, any of that.

Like, it just has released whatever was inside me crippling me.

It's all just changed.

It's all gone.

And now I have the ability to help other women that have food problems, you know, with training.
