So I am going to share three different things I've put into my doggering business and life that really, really change things.

What does she mean by 90-day cycles? Okay, so we know as business owners, we already know there are things like Q4, Q2, whatever.

90 day cycles don't necessarily have to correlate with the quarters of the year.

And there are things I encourage groomers to put in their businesses to give themselves more structure.

um so in the academy we encourage and help all members to do an annual terms and conditions distribution so to make sure that every year you know all your owners have had your t's and c's because it gives you a lot more legs to stand on when anything happens such as um policies are broken because you know that customer without fail has had your policies in the last 12 months at the very very most compared to maybe they joined five years ago and they haven't had them since.

So annual distribution of your T's and C's is something we encourage all members to do.

And bearing in mind that obviously most of our owners come on a six to eight week schedule, not all get this, but most.

So say, for example, you're going to start on January the 1st, handing out your new updated 2027 T's and C's.

So eight weeks, because if they're on an eight-week schedule, you will see most of your owners in those eight weeks.

So with regard to T's and C's, yes, of course, you can just do a mass email, send them all out, job done.

And I encourage if you have software, you should email them all out, definitely.

But in addition... what you could perhaps do as well for the sake of the cost of some a4 paper and some printing ink is print them all out and staple them together and hand them out in a nice little official pack to every single customer in those first two months of the year so yeah i know it costs ink and whatever but i think it works out less than 20 pence per customer and if that can save you that customer not um like giving a last-minute cancellation or no-show, whatever it is that year, then so be it, to be perfectly honest.
