Any tips? One of the most difficult things when it comes to growing your presence online is how you're positioned as a coach.

And the biggest mistake most coaches make, most trainers make, is that they don't have their positioning correct.

And a simple breakdown that I give here that you can apply off the back of this episode is asking yourself what you can learn from Harry Potter and what you can learn from the Lord of the Rings.

And generally what I tell people is you want to be positioned as the guide of the side and not the hero of the story when you're trying to bring people into the top of your funnel for lead generation for your program.

So if you think about the Harry Potter movies, if you think about the Lord of the Rings, you've got Harry Potter, who's the protagonist.

What can happen with a lot of social media content is you're positioning yourself as the hero.

If you're a personal trainer, you're talking about your fitness program or what you're doing in terms of your fitness training, your nutrition, the supplements you're using.

But what it does is it doesn't make people think I need to work with that person.

So what I would want you to consider off the back of this episode is how do you position yourself as the guide on the side? You want to be Dumbledore, not Harry Potter.

And when you are the guide on the side, you're showing people exactly how it is that you work with others who are the hero of their own story.

So in the case of a personal trainer or a fitness coach online, your clients are the hero of the story.

And you're using their experience, either case studies, testimonies or ideas from working with them to cement that you're somebody that can help others who have a similar issue and that you're the perfect fit as a coach for them.

So if we look at your feed, your last 10 posts, I can nearly guarantee if you're struggling to grow social media, you're struggling to grow clients through social media, you probably have your feed all about you.

And the best creators online who have social media following, who have good lead generation pipelines of people coming in, is they blended this.

Because what happens when you position yourself as the hero, you become like, known and trusted.
