Well, we are here on The Brett Alan Show with a very special guest, Shamon Brown Jr.
Man, and we had him on our show a while ago for Ninja Turtles: Mutants Mayhem, and he's just had a really great career and a front run.
You have literally grown up on [laughs] this show and, uh, your character arc has changed over the seasons.
How does it feel to basically come to the end of this journey and really have this for the fans to watch?
I'm, you know, of course, sad that it's ending, but I'm very proud of the story and the journey and the whole series that we've built.
Now, your character, as I mentioned, uh, sort of in a joking way, you have grown up on this show.
Do you remember what it was like your first day on the set after you had booked this role? Like, did you have any kind of sense-
... of like how big this would be just based on what you had seen and read, uh, and the character you had been cast as, as, you know, he, he's changed a lot over the years.
Um, I would say looking back at my first day, I think back then I was just, like, happy to be there, you know? As a kid, you know, you don't really fully embrace certain things or comprehend certain things as you do when you get older.
So I think it felt like just like a playground, like, you know, doing what I love to do.
Like, I always loved acting, so it was just, like, doing what I love to do with dope people around me.
Um, I was only supposed to be in, like, two or three episodes in the first season anyway and then I wound up being in, wound up being in 19 out of 10 [laughs] in the first season.
So, and then, you know, of course, with each season when it comes to the end, it's like you never know if it's gonna come back.
