It's been one of those days, friends.

This is the Bookshelf Lunchtime Live.

It is Tuesday.

It's been a little while.

I'll tell you why.

Because I've been running around like a lunatic, mostly in London, working on Times Radio, having the time of my life.

But it precludes me from being here with you on lunchtime, which we really enjoy doing, especially me.

The three of us in this studio...

Every week, I have Statler, Waldorf, and Kermit.

And between the jigs and the reels, we get on just fine, despite their ongoing criticism and low-level tension.

That is to say, the great Aidan Power and Tom, whatever.

Anyway, so Tom is here as well, and they just keep an eye on things and make sure that you're all doing okay, which is good.

I haven't even asked you how you guys are because we were so busy talking about me.

What is this business with? I saw some young people doing photographs, and when they get into group photographs, it's the two birds being flipped, if you know what I'm trying to say.
