Chris Young - The Big 615 Presents The StormeCast

This song and the album title just fits your MO perfectly.

This is you in a nutshell.

It sounds autobiographical, which it probably is,

correct? It's really funny.

This song is just a good time song.

You're a good time guy.

The friends that you have seen lately and the ones you haven't, and it's going to be perfect for summer, I think.

I know it's mine, so we'll see what everybody else has to say about it.

But I love it, so I made it the title track of the record.

It sounds like we wrote this at... 9 p.m.

He wrote it at 9 a.m. Everybody was sitting there with a coffee and we're writing this song about, yeah, we're just going to party.

Have a good time.

And meanwhile, it's like, you know, me in sweatpants and a T-shirt with Dallas Davidson and Kyle Fishman sitting around a computer in a basement writing this song.

But it was Dallas's fault because we were sitting there and I hadn't seen him in a long time.

And I had a right earlier that day.

and we didn't have anything scheduled, but me and him were just catching up.

And I was like, okay, traffic's died down as much as it does in Nashville.

Traffic never really dies down anymore, but it died down.

It wasn't five o'clock traffic.

So I was like, it's probably time to like grab an Uber home.

And as much as I enjoy catching up, I have 114 pound German shepherd that would really like to go outside.

And he doesn't have opposable thumbs.

So I was like, I'm going to get out of here.

I was like, do you need me to drop you anywhere? And he goes, no, man, I didn't come here to leave.

And I was like, Oh, I was like, can we please write that tomorrow morning? He's like, I've got something at 11, but if you can get up and be here at nine, I'll do it.
