Do you ever end the day feeling like you didn't do enough—even after being busy from morning until night? In this episode, we're uncovering the real reason so many women constantly feel behind…
Today's episode, we are going to focus in on a message of why you are always feeling behind.
Because if you are anything like me, you have so much you're trying to get done and it can be so easy to feel like you are not doing enough.
And when you get in frustration, when you feel discouraged, when you get in these moments where your stress and tension peaks high, it's easy to have the conversation in your head be all the things you're not doing.
I could be doing this better.
I'm never able to get all these things done.
And I want us today to stop that self-talk and reverse this habit in our head because it's holding us back.
It's preventing us from moving forward and it's preventing us from being able to actually enjoy and appreciate what's going on in our lives and in the world right in front of us.
And I think for me as a mom, I'm a mom to two young boys.
I have a five-year-old now who just turned five last week and a 15-month-old.
And I am a teacher.
I work full-time currently on the last few weeks of my summer break.
But as a working mom, I am noticing so clearly how important it is for me to model my own self-talk and how important it is for me to model how I internalize my day and how I process and regulate my emotions because my five-year-old is watching how I handle my emotions.
He's watching how I process good feelings and hard feelings.
And it's one thing for me to think I'm handling it the right way.
But then once I see him respond in a way that I normally respond, oh my goodness, I don't want him to carry this with him throughout his life.
It puts things in perspective.
And I think that's extremely important here.
What the focus here is today is just chatting heart to heart with you on how we can be a little bit better with releasing this pressure we put on ourselves.
and unpacking this reason why we always feel behind because the truth is and what you're gonna hear today is that you are not nearly as behind as you think you are and so I want you to accept that and Just receive that right here and now, all right? Because we have been there.
We know what it's like.
You know those days so clearly where you have done all the things.
You took care of the kids.
You responded to emails.
You emptied and restarted the dishwasher.
Your laundry actually made it through the washer and the dryer in one normal cycle.
