Um, we're going to be thinking about a partner of ours called Batsal, and Jim's gonna share a bit about, uh, who he is, his story, um, how he's serving the Lord in that part of the world.

But before we do that, we're gonna think for a few moments just about the horrific scenes that we saw at the end of August with the flash floods that, that caused such devastation in Nepal.

Uh, there is something on our website under Latest News: Flash Flood in Nepal, uh, if you want to see that.

We know that in Utsang's church, uh, one member of his fam- uh, of the church family lost, uh, me-many members of her family.

And there were other believers who were also killed that are not in, connected with that church.

So, uh, we continue to pray for that, and we know that our, uh, brother Utsang has been up there and has been already ministering to people.

They are, um, gr-grateful for any funds that are provided to bring help for families at this, uh, time.

It, it is possible to give directly to work in Nepal, and if you would like your gift to go towards some of the relief efforts that both Utsang and, uh, I, I think Batsal are hoping to be involved in i-in coming weeks and months, um, you can make that clear as, as you, as you make your gift.

You can leave a comment associated with your gift, and then we know that that's what that's to be used for.

Alternatively, you can just get in touch with the office, um, and make a gift over the phone, and you can explain, um, what you would like that to, to, to be used for.

It's a really striking event, isn't it? I, I don't think I've ever seen footage like that in my life.

I remember whenever I first joined Asia Link, and the first place I, I visited, as, as I said last month, was Nepal, and that was only a couple of years since the devastating earthquakes that took place there in 2015.

And I remember seeing, you know, clip after clip after clip of just things I'd never seen before, you know, buildings shaking, destruction.
