Send us Fan Mail Do you ever have days where you feel like a walking tornado — trying every tool in your kit and somehow feeling worse? That's not…
Anne Marie PizarroHostTrying to put that on other people honestly isn't fair, especially once you're an adult.
But I want you to know that if you feel it, then you have a choice in what to do about it.
Spiritually, emotional dysregulation is part of the human experience when we step into this dense 3D body.
We take on a nervous system that was designed to respond to its environment.
And it carries the imprint of every moment that we've felt unsafe, unseen, or overwhelmed.
What the Akashic Records, the soul's book of life, reveal is that this emotional wiring is not an accident.
Many of our soul contracts specifically include the experience of navigating a reactive emotional body because learning to regulate, to return to presence, to choose peace in the middle of chaos, and to be in the moment so fully is some of the most significant soul work available to us here.
The Akashic Records show, again and again, that mastering the emotional body creates the conditions for our deepest growth and we came here to learn this.
Now something happens when in the moment you choose to be the master of your emotions rather than letting it master you.
Your breath changes, your mind settles, and your body opens up, and this is where you have a window to land back in your body and shift.
The moment you take deliberate control of your breath, you're sending a signal to your entire system that you're safe.
Not over analysis, not over explanation, and definitely not forcing your emotions to make sense before you're allowed to just feel them.
Just the practice of bringing your attention gently, again and again, back to what's in front of you can help you Maybe it's saying thank you for something or noticing how something feels when you touch it or just taking a moment to look around you and realize how good you might actually have it in this moment, right here, right now.
So did you pick up on that ninja tactic right there? You just gave yourself a little gift.
Just listening to my voice leads your emotion to a place where it can pause and receive what I'm saying.
So how do you regulate your emotions? The answer is to acknowledge that you're made to react and recognize that how you respond is up to you.
