Dave DavisHostObviously, it finishes in a bit of a mad way, but you think Liverpool are 6-1 up at one point and it's more than a mental game, probably just a hammering, really.
And I think, you know, Iriola was interesting after the match when he talks about the fact that I probably shouldn't have changed both the centre-halves at once and maybe that led to a bit of the kind of madness late on.
But, you know, the reality is I think Liverpool were just in cruise control, weren't they? I think they just absolutely battered Lask and the quality gap between the two sides was so evident throughout.
And I guess, you know, I've seen attempts to kind of play that down and I caveated a lot on my kind of post-match stuff when I spoke about it yesterday.
You know, it is only last, yes, but there's a way to kind of deal with these games and it's to swap the opposition aside.
It's to play as Liverpool did, to play well and not just kind of win it at Canter, but to really put on a good show.
And, you know, you can only beat the opposition in front of you, but to beat them by six, you know, there's a big, big Champions League score.
I mean, Liverpool didn't beat this side with six when they played them a few years ago in the Europa League.
And I think, like I say, I know it is only Lask, but there's a certain way to beat them.
But for the concession of those couple of late goals, it was an absolute hammering.
