The ultimate wedding ick list

Welcome back to The Aisle Diaries Podcast. This week, Joella and Sophie are getting controversial… From beige weddings and matching bridesmaid dresses to wedding favours, cash bars, unplugged ceremonies, choreographed first dances and those giant neon signs, Joella and Sophie are putting their honest opinions on some of the biggest wedding trends, habits and guest behaviours to the test. And yes… there are definitely a few disagreements along the way. They chat about whether guests should be allowed to wear jeans, posting on social media before the couple, professional-style guest photography, fake candid photos, wedding content creators, Instagrammable wedding moments, matching Hen-do outfits, asking bridesmaids to pay for everything and whether calling yourself a “bridezilla” is actually fair. Plus, they get into something a little more serious: the pressure wedding suppliers put on themselves, setting boundaries with couples, protecting your personal time and why having a better work-life balance matters, especially during the busiest months of wedding season. And then there’s this week’s Bridal Spiral, which comes from a destination wedding planner who finds herself in a VERY awkward situation after discovering that a couple who told her they were leaving had actually stayed to meet another wedding planner… at the exact same venue. And remember, there’s no right answer, this is just two wedding suppliers giving their very honest opinions! 💌 Got your own Bridal Spiral?
