Marie-Noelle MarquisHostBefore we wrap up, we'd like to zoom out for a moment and then ask you to weigh in on a question that...
And that's if whether or not AIP is actually appropriate for everyone with an autoimmune disease.
So in your professional opinion, are there cases where you tell someone AIP is just not the right starting point at all?

I mean, I've had clients with ADHD and I just think, yeah, AIP is not the right starting point.

However, you know, going back to my spectrum, you know, I'm still going to step them on that spectrum, like by going gluten free or adding in nutrient dense things or, you know, tweaking the diet and working with blood sugar balance.

So there's absolutely, you're still on that spectrum, but You know, I think for like sort of even modified AIP, I wouldn't even suggest that to people with ADHD.

But I think also, obviously I would weigh it up and I would see, but there are a couple of things came to mind.

So maybe, for example, like a busy mum with three kids, I'm not going to suggest that she goes all in with AIP.

um somebody maybe with health anxiety or food fears you know the the perfectionists um and and i don't think i need to explain also not vegans i wouldn't be suggesting that for them either And obviously I'm not gonna tell anyone you can't do it.

So, and you know, for the most part, these people will probably, a lot of these people will need to work on their nervous systems first, to be honest at this, you know, not the vegans, but like the perfectionists, you know, ADHD, probably the busy moms, all of those people will need to work on their nervous system first.
