#459: Energy Update for August 16 - 23: The In-Between

🌑 We’re in the in-between this week! We’re right in the middle of the eclipse portal, between last week’s Total Solar Eclipse and the Lunar Eclipse on August 27th. This can feel like a bit of a limbo period, where things are shifting but we don’t necessarily know what’s coming next. Plans can change, unexpected opportunities or endings can appear, and clarity may come in pieces. There’s no need to force anything. This is a week to slow down, pay attention, and let things unfold. 🔥 Mars is also helping move things along. Mars has just moved into Cancer, so its usual go-getter energy is a little softer right now. Instead of charging ahead and trying to make something happen, this is more about listening to your heart and your intuition. You may feel an inner nudge that says, *I can’t keep doing this. I need to change.* That internal push can be uncomfortable, but it may also be showing you where you’re ready to move in a new direction. 🌿 We’re also moving from Leo season into Virgo season, which begins next Saturday. I think of Virgo as back to school energy: making lists, getting organized, getting prepared and getting shit done! 😂 It’s a great time to simplify, declutter, create better routines and take all those ideas and inspiration from Leo season and actually bring them into everyday life. ✨ And one of Virgo’s greatest gifts is paying attention. Notice what keeps showing up. Notice what you’re suddenly excited about. Notice what you’re tired of. And especially notice what no longer feels like you. Virgo also reminds us that spirituality isn’t only found in meditation, ceremony or big mystical experiences. It can be found in making breakfast, walking the dog, washing the dishes or taking a shower. Sometimes the most spiritual thing we can do is simply be present for the life we’re actually living. 💫 So this week may feel like you’re between versions of yourself. Something is shifting, but you may not be able to put your finger on exactly what it is yet. You don’t have to figure it all out. Eclipse season often reveals things in stages, and sometimes the biggest transformation is happening within us before we can see it happening around us. So slow down, pay attention, stay open and let the universe do some of the driving. And most importantly, find a little more of the sacred in whatever is right in front of you.
