I don't know if you remember, but I'm sure you can remember where you told me you were, I looked at our notes, you were working long hours.

You were torn between this security kind of job that you had and then running also your own boutique tax strategy firm at the time.

And you correct me if anything's wrong, okay? But you felt undervalued, overworked, and constantly on the treadmill with no time to yourself, your family, or even your piano.

So it's been about three years.

That's right.

Well, everything you said was pretty much right.

And it's funny, you mentioned that, and my heart just went right back to when I made that decision, you know, I had to draw the line in the sand.

And, you know, I had to draw the line in the sand.

Say, okay, no more building on the side.

I decided I've never been happy working for somebody else.

When did you quit your job? Was it just in that moment

or did you wait? Right when we finished our project together, our work together.

So you did the eight week sales mastery course and then quit.

So two months.

Okay.

I just got to the point where I knew I needed to run my own firm, but I didn't feel like I had something to sell that I could charge what I was asked to, you know, like what we were working on.
