"Be not afraid of going slowly, be afraid only of standing still."

You can see by the title of this episode, Be Not Afraid of Going Slowly, Be Afraid Only of Standing Still.

And this is a Chinese proverb that came to me a couple of days ago through listening to a phenomenal podcast with Gwyneth Paltrow.

She was the guest.

And Gwyneth has been one of my biggest inspirations since the 90s.

I remember having pictures of her that I tore out of the 17 magazine or whatever other magazines I was reading back then.

I can't remember.

There's 17 magazines.

teen people yeah that was one I used to order the daily as magazine do you remember that one that one recently came back to my awareness it's funny I was standing in line at a grocery store and like googling something and somehow the daily as magazine was right there and then I looked up and the I'll say girl because I think she was pretty young standing right in front of me looked like she could have been a model in the daily as magazine I was like the 90s is like so back in in every way, shape, form.

Anyways, I remember tearing out pictures of Gwyneth Paltrow and putting them up on my closet.

My closet was a whole collage of my inspirations and there were so many Gwyneth pictures up there.

And then Great Expectations was my favorite movie for so long.

And when I started A Line Within, I was so inspired by her and what she was doing with Goop.

Anyways, she has always been a huge, huge inspiration for me.

And I understood why now because I put our astro charts together and there's so many alignments that are just right on top of each other.

Um, but I was listening to this podcast where she was sharing about goop and how she has built goop and how she's been in business now for 18 years with goop and the rising and the falling and all the things that she's gone through, but also that it's been such a slow build, such slow growth.

And it was so inspiring for me to listen to in that moment at that time.

She referenced a Chinese proverb, which I couldn't find.

She didn't say it properly, I don't think.

But also maybe I just wasn't meant to find that exact one.

What came up when I Googled it was this one.

Be not afraid of going slowly.

Be only afraid of standing still.

And I really, really, really needed to hear that.

And I'm giving this to you as well today because I feel that you need to hear it too.

I feel that we all need to hear it.
