You know, you did the preview last year and s- you know, that's brave thing to do, but you got people out seeing it.
You've had a challe- we, we've all had a challenging spring, and new courses, you know, uh, I think it's a bit hard.
But, um, you know, just here at Archie Fields and the renaissance in you and just amazing how they've evolved and evolved and evolved.
So tell us a bit about how you, much soil you had to take off to get down to the sand or where that, that soil comes from.

Uh, still it, it was variable, you know what I mean? And I think, you know, having lived there for 10 years and walked dogs around there, I knew where the, the light, friable soils were, and I knew where the heavy soils were.

And we'd done some digs with our former course manager before we got in, uh, you know, with Chris Haskell.

Um, we'd done some digs, and so we knew, you know, roughly what, what we were going to expect there.

We, we did the pure sand, um, you know, up at, uh, Castle Stuart, and we, we felt that was the right way, uh, you know, forward.

Um, so, you know, at, at times it might have been a foot, and other times it might have been two or three feet just in, in bits that had been blown up or washed down into areas.
