We are talking about what the Rabbeinu Shalom promised Avram Avinu, to give to the zera of Avram Avinu.
Now, it sounds simple and poshet.
Of course we're zera Avram.
We're children of Avram Avinu.
But think about that.
That means that Avram Avinu's avoida was so powerful that it was able to influence generations, generations, generations.
Thousands of years later, we're all considered zera Avram.
And that's our claim to the bris that the Rabbeinu Shalom made with Avram Avinu.
And on one hand, it should give us an appreciation for who we are.
We say that the Rabbeinu Shalom is the Elokei Avram, Yitzchak, and Yaakov because we are the children of Avram, Yitzchak, and Yaakov.
And that gives us a zchus to daven to HaKadosh Baruch Hu.
But more than that, it's an achrayus.
That means Avram Avinu, Yitzchak Avinu, and Yaakov Avinu set the foundations for Klal Yisrael.
And when we follow in darkei Avram, for example, Avram Avinu represented the middah of chesed, to be meitiv to others, to benefit others.
When we follow in the derech of Avram Avinu, we're fulfilling our purpose of being zera Avram.
When we do avoida, when we serve the Rabbeinu Shalom, that's Yitzchak.
And it has to give us a certain feeling of importance.
Like we said many times, our avoida is based on our understanding that we are important.
We are consequential.
We can make an impact.
When we daven, we can influence.
