You know, if your teenager brings it up or if they don't, then I think it's a conversation that we can bring up to even help craft healthy conversations around what healthy relationships look like.
Like right now, students are actually dating less than they used to previous generations.
But again, something I hope that we do well is help you prepare for any conversation before that conversation comes up.
So what is healthy dating actually look like this week? We've got five tips for you.
I do think one thing that I think is healthy is not to put the marriage pressure on a 13 year old relationship.
Yeah.
And I think even them thinking that far out, it feels so far away if you're in middle school or high school.
I think it is a great image.
It's not that you don't do that or not that you separate from that.
But I think it's easy.
You often tell students that dating is prep for a future spouse.
And again, there is truth to that.
But it's just as much preparation about who you are, who you're becoming right now.
You know, marriage, again, to a middle schooler, even for a high schooler, it feels...
Even with the information you just shared, with that date getting moved further and further back, it can feel something that feels so distant that it's like, I'm not even thinking about that right now.
It doesn't matter.
So it is a good visual, but even a better one is like, who are you becoming right now? In your relationships, whether it's six weeks or becomes a marriage, it's a place for you to...
